A platform upgrade arrives and the conversation jumps to opportunity. The first practical job is checking whether your existing workflow still works.
This is a general review framework. It does not announce a specific upgrade or token launch.
Map every dependency
List the API endpoints, authentication flow, signing format, contract addresses, collateral asset, and order lifecycle your system uses. Tie each item to current official documentation.
A change in collateral can affect balances, conversion steps, and accounting. A matching-engine change can affect reconnect behavior and the way pending orders are handled.
Test the complete round trip
In a controlled, limited setup, verify funding, order submission, cancellation, position visibility, and withdrawal or redemption where applicable. A successful login does not validate the rest of the workflow.
Check whether old approvals remain necessary and whether open orders survive a restart. Use documented behavior rather than assumptions from the previous version.
Keep speculation separate
A technical change does not by itself establish a token distribution, a reward entitlement, or future returns. Those claims need their own explicit announcement.
Save the documentation version and the date of the check. When something changes later, you will know which assumptions need another look.
The useful response to an upgrade is a short dependency map and a tested workflow. The promotional interpretation can wait.

A note on risk
Prices can change and positions can lose their full value. Examples are educational, not promises of returns.
